2024 Orange and White Game: How to watch

Tennessee will hold their annual spring game this afternoon.

The 2024 Orange and White Game is set for this afternoon inside of Neyland Stadium. The University will limit fan attendance to 10,000 people today due to ongoing construction in the stadium. Due to that, tickets for the event are already sold out.

However, you can catch the whole game with access to ESPN’s streaming platforms.

What channel is the Orange and White Game on?

The game will be carried by SEC Network+ only. This means you can access the stream through the ESPN app or through ESPN.com.

What time does the Orange and White Game start?

The Orange and White game is set to begin at 1 p.m. ET.

Game Format

“Similar to previous Orange & White Games in the Josh Heupel era, offense will wear white jerseys and be on the home sideline. Defense will wear orange jerseys and be on the visiting sideline. Quarterbacks will wear Smokey Grey jersey tops. Normal game scoring will apply with offense (while wearing white jerseys) alternating possessions for Orange and White. The first half will be timed normally with two 15-minute quarters. There will be a 10-minute halftime before a second half that features a running clock.” (H/T UTSports.com)

As always, you’re likely to see a very watered down product today. Tennessee will hold several key players out of today’s action, particularly up front on the offensive line. Quarterback Nico Iamaleava and running back Dylan Sampson will also likely see limited action.

There’s still plenty to watch for, however. Tennessee’s wide receiver rotation feels wide open with an improved Dont’e Thornton and the addition of Chris Brazzell. The Vols’ secondary is a complete wildcard with five new starters. We’ll also get to see highly touted quarterback Jake Merklinger take the field.

We’ll have full coverage after the game, including comments from Tennessee head coach Josh Heupel.
