Aaron Murray believes Tennessee has another potential star in Joe Milton III.
On SiriusXM College Sports Radio, the former Georgia player called Milton “the most talented quarterback in America.”
“He is the most gifted QB in America, he is,” Murray said of Milton. “He has the best arm. He is extremely athletic. The dude can dunk a basketball like it’s nothing … He’s a great athlete, and he’s a gigantic human being and can throw the ball 80-plus yards.”

Murray likened Milton to Anthony Richardson, whom he considers the most talented quarterback in the 2023 NFL Draft, as a reminder that talent doesn’t always translate to consistent results.
“I think he’s the most gifted quarterback in America,” he added. “Doesn’t make you the best QB.”
Milton put those abilities to good use when replacing the injured Henon Hooker late in the 2022 season. The former Michigan transfer completed 19 of 28 passes for 251 yards and three touchdowns in an Orange Bowl victory over Clemson.
The 6-foot-5 senior could make Murray look like a genius if sustaining last year’s success over a larger sample size. Milton averaged 11.8 yards per pass attempt while tossing 10 touchdowns to zero interceptions in limited work.
