Moving down.
Tennessee didn’t fall far following their loss to Auburn over the weekend. The Volunteers actually controlled that game late, only to see an offensive rebound and a corner three doom their efforts. Zakai Zeiglers three-pointer rimmed out, and the Volunteers suffered their third loss of the season.
Tennessee dropped from No. 6 to No. 8 in today’s AP Poll release. Both Houston and Michigan State jumped them in the top 25 rankings.
Auburn held on to the top spot, closely followed by Duke. Iowa State, Alabama and Florida rounded out the top five.
Kentucky tumbled to No. 12 following their loss at Vanderbilt. The Commodores entered the poll at No. 24 after their big win. No. 15 St. Johns (+5) and No. 19 Memphis (+5) made the biggest gains of the week, while No. 23 Ole Miss (-7) and No. 25 UConn (-6) logged the biggest losses of the week.
