This will be the eighth time that Tennessee has pulled off Checker Neyland, which last happened last season against Texas A&M. Before that it was Florida suffering a 38-33 loss in front of a Checker Neyland crowd.
Tennessee, now ranked No. 8 in the country, will be looking to bounce back from a loss to Arkansas last weekend. It’s a must win game for the Vols, who now don’t have a lot of room for error with Alabama and Georgia still remaining on the schedule.
Tennessee has won twice in the last eight tries against the Gators, going 2-2 in their last four Florida matchups at Neyland Stadium.
The Volunteers are 15 point favorites on Saturday night. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. ET on ESPN.
