College Football Analyst Predicts Country’s ‘Loudest’ Stadium In 2023

Stadium noise and atmosphere can have a big impact on opposing teams during football games and very often have in some of the biggest ones. So which stadium will be the loudest in 2023?

247Sports college football insider Brad Crawford did a feature predicting the loudest stadiums this coming season. His top pick for loudest stadium this coming season? Neyland Stadium – home of the Tennessee Volunteers.

Crawford explained that Neyland Stadium was the loudest in the country in their huge wins over Alabama and Kentucky this past year. He believes that the atmosphere will replicate itself for their massive game against SEC East rival Georgia this coming season.

“You couldn’t hear yourself speak inside Neyland Stadium twice last season during Tennessee’s wins over Alabama and Kentucky, two sellouts the created some of the rowdiest atmospheres ever in Knoxville. That’s going to happen again in 2023 when two-time defending national champion Georgia plays Tennessee. Tennessee will try and end this program’s reign atop college football in the SEC finale. Georgia should carry the nation’s longest winning streak into Neyland Stadium for this one,” Crawford wrote.

Neyland Stadium went wild last year after the Volunteers’ thrilling upset win over arch-rival Alabama.

With a stadium that seats over 100,000 fans – among the largest capacities in the entire world – it can be a dangerous place to play when the Vols are good.

And as it so happens, the Vols look pretty good heading into 2023…
