Gameday has arrived in Omaha. No. 1 overall seed Tennessee is set to take on No. 8 overall seed Florida State tonight at Charles Schwab Field. It’s the first game for both sides as they begin their journey through the 8-team, double-elimination tournament.

Tennessee lands in bracket one, paired up with Florida State, Virginia and North Carolina. Bracket two features Kentucky, Florida, NC State and Texas A&M.

The Volunteers are making their third trip to Omaha in the past four years. It’s Tennessee’s seventh overall appearance in the College World Series. They have still yet to appear in the championship series.
