During Thursday night’s Florida Atlantic-Tennessee game, Volunteers forward Uros Plavsic was assessed a flagrant foul for throwing a vicious elbow at an opponent.
In the previous round of the NCAA Tournament, Plavsic hit Duke star Kyle Filipowski with a strong elbow. That play sent the tone for what was a really physical game.
With that said, Filipowski hopped on Twitter last night to share his thoughts on Plavsic’s latest controversial play.
As you’d expect, Filipowski believes there’s no place in basketball for this type of behavior.
“Speaking from experience I don’t think this is a basketball play,” Filipowski tweeted.

Filipowski’s tweet received over 7,000 likes in less than 12 hours.
At the end of the day, Filipowski and Plavsic will both watch the Elite Eight from the couch.
Florida Atlantic outscored Tennessee 40-28 in the second half to keep its Final Four hopes alive.
