ESPN Reporter Called Out For Her Outfit On Thursday

The SEC baseball tournament continued on Thursday. Tennessee advanced with a 7-4 victory over Arkansas, and Kentucky knocked off Alabama to stay alive in the double-elimination bracket.

Alyssa Lang covered the action for ESPN’s SEC Network. The reporter inadvertently aligned with one of the participant’s color schemes.

A fan noted Lang’s “interesting color choice” with a photo of her wearing an orange top. She insisted that she wasn’t favoring the Volunteers.

“Been on the road for two weeks, hastily packed for this event a week ago,” Lang replied. “It’s what was clean!!! I love everyone, I PROMISE.”

Another fan theorized that Lang was simply welcoming Texas to the SEC by wearing Longhorns colors.

“This is the one,” Lang responded with three checkmark emojis.

A fan issued a playful warning before earnestly praising Lang’s performance.

“Just don’t sing ‘Rocky Top,'” Laura Knight advised. “We would have a problem then! Seriously, thanks for your consistently great work! It’s noticed and appreciated.”

No. 3 Kentucky booted No. 2 Arkansas behind two home runs from left fielder Ryan Waldschmidt. Center fielder Nolan McCarthy robbed a home run in the second inning, but the Razorbacks conversely committed three errors at the Hoover Metropolitan Complex

A top seed after a 46-win regular season, Tennessee avoided an early exit when Kavares Tears crushed a three-run homer in the bottom of the seventh.

Lang will try to wear more neutral attire when Tennessee faces the loser of Thursday’s matchup between No. 5 Mississippi State and No. 8 Vanderbilt.
