In a new feature being done by ESPN, which takes over all SEC football coverage this season, game windows for this fall have been announced. An early, afternoon, night or flex category has been assigned to each game for the upcoming 2024 season.
Of course, just about every big game got hit with the flex label, which means afternoon OR night time kickoffs.

Game times against Chattanooga (12:45), NC State in Charlotte (7:30) and Kent State (7:45) have already been finalized. The Senior Day matchup against UTEP has also been finalized, set for 1:00 in November.
Games at Oklahoma, at Arkansas, vs. Florida, vs. Alabama and at Georgia all received the flex designation. So 3:30/4:30 or 6:00/8:00 for those matchups.
Home games against Mississippi State (homecoming) and Kentucky will be night events, while Thanksgiving weekend’s Vandy matchup gets the early designation.
ESPN takes over the traditional Saturday afternoon spot from CBS this year after a megadeal was struck. It’s a ten year deal running through 2034, starting a new era of television tradition in the south. It also comes just as Texas and Oklahoma join the conference. CBS will move to the Big Ten, joining NBC and FOX.
