Tennessee and Baylor are about to tip off in the Bahamas for the Baha Mar Championship. The Volunteers disposed of the Virginia Cavaliers last night, while Baylor came roaring back a couple of different times to beat St. John’s at the buzzer.
Tonight, the No. 11 and the No. 13 teams in the latest AP poll will meet for the title. The Bears, lead by Jeremy Roach and Norchad Omier, will run into a stout Tennessee defense tonight. The Volunteers currently rank No. 1 in defensive efficiency, according to KenPom.
Tennessee is a five point favorite after opening up as a 4.5 point favorite. The Volunteers will once again be without guard Cameron Carr and center JP Estrella. Look for more minutes from Darlinstone Dubar and Cade Phillips, as we saw last night.
