Tennessee (somehow) won game one of their College World Series on Friday night, moving on to the winner’s side to face North Carolina. Both the Tar Heels and Volunteers walked it off on Friday, setting up a showdown tonight in Omaha between two of the nation’s best teams.
North Carolina leads the all-time series against Tennessee, 5-2.
The winner tonight will advance to Game 11 on Wednesday afternoon. The loser will play in Game 9 on Tuesday afternoon against the winner of Virginia-Florida State.
