Another opportunity for a Volunteer.
Igor Milcic is the latest Tennessee Volunteer to get his shot at the NBA level. The 6-9 power forward has reportedly landed with the Philadelphia 76ers on an Exhibit-10 contract, according to Jon Chepkevich.
Tennessee’s Igor Miličić Jr. has agreed to an Exhibit-10 contract with the Philadelphia 76ers, I’m told.
The 6’9 ¾” Croatian-Polish forward brings coveted two-way versatility and earned both PIT + GLE invites.

An Exhibit-10 contract is a a one-year, minimum salary deal. It allows teams to add players for the Summer League and training camp, then convert them to a two-way contract or option them down to a G-League affiliate.
Milicic spent one season with Tennessee after stops with Virginia and Charlotte. He played 25 minutes a game as a senior, scoring 9.4 points and grabbing 6.7 rebounds per game. Milicic was a bit inconsistent throughout the season as an outside shooter, dipping from 37 percent as a junior at Charlotte to 31 percent as a senior.
Basketball is in his blood, as Milicic is following in his father’s footsteps. His father had a 20 year playing career overseas before starting his coaching career back in 2014. Igor will now try to make his mark in the states, playing in the Summer League and perhaps beyond with the 76ers.
Milicic joins his teammates Chaz Lanier (Pistons), Jahmai Mashack (Grizzlies) and Zakai Zeigler (Pistons on a Summer League deal) in the league.
