How to watch.
For the fourth time in the past five seasons, Knoxville will host a regional in the NCAA Baseball Tournament. Tennessee, 43-16 overall and 16-14 in SEC play, earned a No. 14 national seed. The one-time No. 1 ranked team in the country struggled down the stretch, but did enough in Hoover to earn a host site.
They’ll be joined by ACC at-large team Wake Forest, who gets the No. 2 seed in the region. Big-12 at-large bid Cincinnati gets the No. 3, while MAC champ Miami (OH) earned the No. 4.
Tennessee will open with Miami (OH) on Friday night, set to face a big challenge in the form of MAC pitcher of the year Cooper Katskee. Cincinnati and Wake Forest will play before at 1 p.m. ET.
