With back-to-back National Championship wins under their belt, it appears the Georgia Bulldogs have taken the spot as top dog in the SEC.
While that title was long held by Nick Saban and Alabama, a former Georgia quarterback believes the Bulldogs’ biggest conference threat comes from somewhere else.
During a recent interview with On3 Sports, Aaron Murray named Tennessee as his former team’s biggest threat in 2023.
Murray attributed much of his prediction to the rise of Volunteers quarterback Joe Milton.
“I think Joe Milton is a stud… he may be the prettiest build of quarterback in college football right now,” Murray said.

Milton, a former Michigan transfer, started two games for Tennessee after star quarterback Hendon Hooker went down with an ACL tear in Week 11. He led his team to a couple massive wins: a 56-0 win over Vanderbilt and a 31-14 win over Clemson in the Orange Bowl.
The 6-foot-5, 245 lbs QB is heading into his first season as a full-time starter and could be in for a massive campaign in 2023.
