Towards the end of February, Tennessee guard Zakai Zeigler suffered a season-ending injury. In theory, that was supposed to be a devastating blow to the Volunteers’ lineup.
While things could certainly change in the second half, Tennessee appears to have enough firepower to defeat Duke this Saturday and punch its ticket to the Sweet 16.
Zeigler seems to be enjoying what he’s seeing from the Volunteers. Moments ago, he posted an encouraging message for his teammates on social media.
“20 more minutes of ball left,” Zeigler wrote on Twitter. “Let’s get to it fellas we got this !!!!”

Zeigler was a key contributor for Tennessee this season, averaging 10.7 points and 5.4 assists per game.
So far, Olivier Nkamhoua and Santiago Vescovi have been outstanding for the Volunteers. Jonas Aidoo and Josiah-Jordan James have played pivotal roles this afternoon as well.
The second half of the Duke-Tennessee game is being televised on CBS.
