For the fourth year in a row the SEC had a team win the College Football Playoff National Championship Game. Based on the win total projections for this year, the sports books seem to think it could be five.
DraftKings recently unveiled their over/under win totals for the 14 SEC teams in 2023. Leading the way are the two-time defending champion Georgia Bulldogs at 11.5 wins. They haven’t lost a regular season game since November 7, 2020 against Florida.
Alabama comes in with the second-best win total at 10.5, with rivals Tennessee and LSU tied for third at 9.5 wins each. A trio of SEC teams are tied for fifth with 7.5 wins – Ole Miss, Arkansas and Texas A&M.
Sitting just above the 6-win bowl eligibility line are five teams projected at 6.5 wins: South Carolina, Kentucky, Missouri, Mississippi State and Auburn.
Florida was given an over/under of 5.5 wins while the SEC’s longtime minnow Vanderbilt gets a line of a mere 3.5 wins.

Once again it seems like we’re heading towards another Georgia vs. Alabama showdown in either the SEC Championship Game or the College Football Playoff.
But there seems to be some growing momentum towards either Tennessee or LSU potentially stealing a spot from either one of them.
Which SEC teams do you expect will hit the over in 2023? Which will be held under?
