Another receiver exits.
Yet another Tennessee wide receiver will hit the transfer portal. Nathan Leacock, a former four-star prospect that ranked inside of the top 100 in the class of 2023, will be looking for a new opportunity.

Leacock is out of Raleigh, North Carolina. He appeared in just six games for the Volunteers, buried on the depth chart after Tennessee took to the transfer portal and added veterans to the room. Leacock caught one pass this year in the season opener against Chattanooga.
He will have three years of eligibility remaining. Leacock joins fellow receivers Chas Nimrod and Kaleb Webb in the transfer portal. Looking ahead, Tennessee will absolutely be in the wide receiver market once their season ends. Bru McCoy and Dont’e Thornton will be gone, and now Tennessee will be left with Squirrel White, Chris Brazzell, Mike Matthews, Braylon Staley, and a group of freshmen.
Tennessee has added big portal targets in McCoy, Thornton and Brazzell in recent years. It looks like they’ll be headed in the same direction this offseason.
