Can Tennessee bring it home as the favorite?
Following a big week in the SEC Tournament, Tennessee has landed the No. 1 overall national seed in the NCAA Tournament. The committee announced their decision on Monday, with (2) Kentucky, (3) Texas A&M, (4) North Carolina, (5) Arkansas, (6) Clemson, (7) Georgia and (8) Florida State.
Tennessee finished the season with a 50-11 record. They capped things off with a win over LSU on Sunday to take home the SEC Tournament title, battling back from an opening game loss.
Now things are set for the big dance, which will begin next weekend.

Tennessee will open with Northern Kentucky.
In the bracket, Tennessee will be matched up with (16) East Carolina. The winner of the Knoxville Regional will meet the winner of the Greenville Regional in the Super Regional round.
Interestingly enough, Wake Forest lands in the Greenville Regional. Of course, that’s where former Tennessee pitcher Chase Burns landed last offseason after hitting the transfer portal.
