Vescovi is coming off of a stint with the Golden State Warriors in the NBA Summer League. He averaged 3.0 points and 2.5 assists per game, handling 12 minutes per contest.
The 6-3 guard played 149 games for Tennessee and all over the school’s record books. He arrived midseason back in 2019 and was forced into action following an injury to Lamonte Turner. He quickly became a top option for Rick Barnes in what was a rebuilding season.
Vescovi ended up averaging over ten points in that abbreviated first season. He would eventually grow into a two-time All-SEC performer. As a junior, Vescovi averaged 13.3 points per game and shot 40 percent from three-point range. He opted to return for a fifth year last season, but ended up taking a backseat to Dalton Knecht, as he led Tennessee to a regular season SEC title and an Elite Eight run.
The native of Uruguay will now try to help BAXI Manresa to the top of the 18-team league, where they made it to the quarterfinals last season.
