It will be a two-hour special on ESPN.
The SEC will reveal their 2024 football schedule on December 13th, per an announcement from ESPN on Thursday. A two-hour special will reveal the full slate of games for the new-look SEC, which will welcome Texas and Oklahoma to the league next year. The conference will do away with divisions, meaning their scheduling format will get an overhaul.
As a one-year bandaid, the SEC will stick with an eight-game format for 2024, and they determined opponents for everyone back in June. Now in a couple of weeks, we’ll have dates to put with those opponents.
We already know a few things about Tennessee’s 2024 schedule, thanks to an ESPN reveal earlier this week. Florida will shift to October, while Oklahoma will take Florida’s traditional date. The Alabama matchup will keep its standard ‘Third Saturday in October’ date.
