The ‘26 class is already off and rolling.
Tennessee received more good news following their win over the Alabama Crimson Tide over the weekend. Not only was the win massive for Tennessee’s hopes this season, it may have had an impact on the future. The Volunteers hosted a ridiculous amount of talent in Knoxville over the weekend, as each prospect got to experience Neyland Stadium at its absolute best.
Naturally, a couple were sold on the spot. Tennessee picked up two 2026 commitments following the game. landing four-star offensive lineman Brandon Anderson and three-star defensive lineman Tyson Bacon.
Anderson, who stands in at 6-4, 320 pounds, announced his commitment to Tennessee on Sunday. The four-star lineman projects as a guard at the next level. Anderson was in town to visit Tennessee during the last two weekends, taking in both the Florida and Alabama games. Clearly that was enough to sell him on where his future home would be.
Anderson is the 246th ranked player in the 2026 cycle, according to the 247Sports Composite rankings.
Alabama, Florida, Auburn, Georgia and LSU were just a handful of his other offers. After seeing several of those campuses so far this fall, Tennessee closed the deal on Saturday.
Three-star defensive lineman Tyson Bacon also announced his commitment to Tennessee, actually getting to tell Josh Heupel in the locker room as he enjoyed his victory cigar.

The 6-3, 248 pound defender is out of Hoover, Alabama. Bacon is the 500th ranked player in the 247Sports Composite rankings and the 17th rated player out of the state of Alabama. He also held offers from Florida, Ole Miss, Wisconsin, Washington and Michigan State.
Anderson and Bacon give Tennessee its third and fourth members of their 2026 class, which is already off to a hot start. They join five-star quarterback and No. 1 overall player Faizon Brandon, along with four-star tight end Carson Sneed.
Tennessee currently ranks seventh nationally in the extremely early goings of the 2026 cycle.
