Tennessee basketball has fallen to No. 10 in the latest AP top 25 poll today, following two losses in the Maui Invitational last week. The Volunteers beat Syracuse to open the week, but both Purdue and Kansas got the better of Tennessee later in the week.
Purdue assumed the No. 1 spot in this week’s poll after winning the title in Maui over Marquette. Marquette moved up to No. 3 in the polls after coming up with a win over Kansas, which moved to No. 5.
Arizona took the No. 2 slot, following at win over Michigan State.
Kentucky — which went to overtime with St. Joes — was somehow one of the big winners of the week, moving all the way up to No. 12. Texas A&M moved to No. 14, Mississippi State entered the top 25 at No. 21. Alabama tumbled down to No. 23.
