Tennessee fans hoping to find out who the Vols will face at home in SEC play in basketball – as well as whether they might catch the Vols on the road – now have a better idea on Wednesday morning.
The university released the list of home/away/both SEC basketball opponents for the 2025-26 season.

The big note is the home-and-away opponents. The Vols will get Kentucky and Vanderbilt at Thompson-Boling Arena as well as on the road, as they do every year. They also will get Alabama as their third such team. The Florida Gators rotated off, and the Crimson Tide replaced them this year. Tennessee got Alabama just once last year – a 79-76 win on Jahmai Mashack’s 30-foot buzzer beater – and now will get to head to the Coleman Coliseum as well.
The Vols will welcome old Big 12 foes Oklahoma, Texas, and Texas A&M at home this year, as well as 2024-25 Final Four participant Auburn.
The road slate isn’t a killer, but the defending national champion Gators will be a nightmare, particularly in Gainesville, where they defeated Tennessee 73-43 last year.
