Perlotte is the 282nd ranked player in the class, according to the 247Sports Composite rankings. The 6-2, 202 pound linebacker is out of Buford, Georgia. His visited Tennessee back in November, attending the Kentucky matchup.
As a junior in 2023, Perlotte was credited with 55 tackles and eight tackles for loss. He also picked up two sacks and five pass breakups. Perlotte also ran track for Buford High School.
Tennessee’s linebacker class is now absolutely loaded. Perlotte joins three-star linebacker Brenden Anes and four-star linebackers Christian Gass and Jaedon Harmon. William Inge certainly has elevated the linebacker recruiting during this cycle, and his room now sets up pretty nicely for the next few seasons.
Tennessee now has 23 total signatures on the first day of the early signing period. Five-star tackle David Sanders still remains, but most expect him to stick with the Volunteers. Four-star cornerback Onis Konanbanny also still hasn’t signed as he continues to flirt with Florida.
The Volunteers now rank 10th in the country for the 2025 cycle, per 247Sports.
