Another night game for the Vols.
Tennessee-Florida will be contested as a night game under the lights at Neyland Stadium. The SEC announced kickoff times for the October 12th slate this afternoon, and the Volunteers and Gators landed the 7 p.m. ET time slot. ESPN will have the coverage.

The Volunteers are coming off of a bye week after taking care of Oklahoma, 25-15. They’ll travel to Arkansas this weekend before returning home to Knoxville to face the Gators. Florida is also coming off of a bye week following a win over Mississippi State previously. The Gators will host UCF this week.
It’s been a tough start to the year for Billy Napier, who might just have the hottest seat in the country right now. Florida’s brutal schedule doesn’t let up anytime soon either, with UCF, Tennessee, Kentucky, LSU, Ole Miss, Georgia and Texas left.
Tennessee sits 4-0 and is now ranked No. 4 in the latest AP Poll. A potential tricky spot awaits them in Fayetteville this weekend, and no matter how bad Florida appears on paper, I’m not sure this program will ever overlook Florida. These next two are just ones you have to go get if you’re going to make the College Football Playoff, which the Volunteers are obviously well on track to do.
After those two, we all know what’s up next. But more on that later.
