He won’t be able to go.
Tennessee will be without a key starter once again on Saturday night against Oklahoma. Lance Heard, the starting left tackle for the Volunteers, was ruled out on the Friday injury report. He had been listed as questionable on the previous two injury reports.

Heard also missed last week’s game against Kent State.
Tennessee will turn to Dayne Davis and maybe Larry Johnson to fill Heard’s spot. Depth was a concern on the offensive line over the summer, but Glen Elarbee’s group has flashed plenty of it through the first three weeks. Another bonus of three straight blowouts to start the season? Building some of that depth up quickly with extra playing time. They’ll need it tonight.
Tennessee landed Heard out of the transfer portal this offseason, getting the former five-star prospect away from LSU after just one season. The 6-6, 340 pound left tackle has been dealing with an ankle injury for the last couple of weeks.
Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. ET in Norman. ABC will have the coverage.
