Three games, three different uniform combinations for Tennessee football. The Vols will be decked out in orange on orange on Saturday night, wearing their orange pants for the first time in 2024 against Kent State.
Tennessee announced the combination on Thursday morning.

The Volunteers opened against Chattanooga in their 2024 version of the ‘Smokey Grey’ alternate, then traveled to Charlotte to face NC State in their all white look.
Tennessee has yet to wear their traditional orange and white look, which now will likely have to wait until October 12th when Florida comes to town. Tennessee has a road game at Oklahoma up next, then a bye week, then a trip to Arkansas. Four consecutive home games (Florida, Alabama, Kentucky, Mississippi State) will follow. You can probably assume the Vols will go ‘dark mode’ for one of those games — Mississippi State or Kentucky if I had to guess.
The Volunteers are near 50 point favorites over Kent State on Saturday. Kickoff is set for 7:45 p.m. ET.
