He’s committed to Oregon, but that could be about to change.
It’s shaping up to be another huge recruiting weekend for Tennessee as we inch closer to the fall. The Volunteers have been in the mix for a handful of top prospects to close out their 2025 class, and a couple of them will be on campus once again this weekend.
Notably, four-star tight end Da’Saahn Brame will be one of them. Brame chose Oregon over Tennessee last month after a tight battle, but apparently that battle isn’t quite over just yet.

Brame stands in at 6-6, 235 pounds. The Kansas native is the 102nd ranked player in the class, according to 247Sports. He’s the fifth ranked tight end prospect in the country.
Earlier this week, both Steve Wiltfong and Chad Simmons of On3 logged predictions that Brame would flip to Tennessee. Now with Brame getting back to campus, along with five-star offensive tackle David Sanders and a few others, it looks like that flip chance is pretty high.

Tennessee already holds a commitment from four-star tight end Jack Van Dorselaer, which came back in January. The Volunteers would obviously like to take multiple prospects at the position, however. Tennessee currently has junior Holden Staes and redshirt freshman Ethan Davis.
Brame is regarded almost as a bigger receiver prospect and likely wouldn’t simply be relegated to playing a traditional tight end role. He’s a big body that certainly could make a difference in the redzone, as evidenced by his 13 receiving touchdowns last season at the prep level.
Tennessee currently has 18 commitments in their 2025 class, which ranks 10th in the country according to 247Sports. Adding Brame — and potentially Sanders — would push the Volunteers into the top five range.
