Huge pickups.
It’s official — Tennessee is reloading for another National Championship run. Tony Vitello continued his run through the transfer portal on Tuesday night, landing former Ole Miss stars Andrew Fischer and Liam Doyle.
The duo announced their decisions via X.

Both took official visits to Knoxville on Monday.
Fischer, a 6-1 third baseman, is a rising junior with two seasons of eligibility remaining. However, he will be MLB Draft eligible next summer and will have plenty of suitors coming off of a great sophomore showing. Fischer hit .285 with 20 home runs, driving in 57 runs on the year.
He officially hit the portal on July 2nd, and now quickly lands in Knoxville.
Tennessee also added LHP Liam Doyle. The 6-2, 220 pound pitcher registered a 5.73 ERA in his lone season with Ole Miss, making 16 total appearances. Doyle made nine starts for the Rebels, striking out 84 batters over 55 innings pitched.
Doyle spent one season with Coastal Carolina before landing at Ole Miss last season. As a freshman with Coastal Carolina, Doyle went 3-1 with a 4.15 ERA. He’ll begin his Tennessee career with two seasons of eligibility remaining — also draft eligible next summer.
Doyle tossed six innings on March 23rd against Tennessee, giving up three earned runs and striking out ten. Now in Knoxville, he’ll help replace the departed left-handers Zander Seachrist, Chris Stamos and Kirby Connell.
Fischer and Doyle join infielder Gavin Kilen, RHP Tanner Franklin and first baseman Eric Rataczak in Tennessee’s now loaded transfer portal class.
