Peyton Manning is officially a member of the Pro Football Hall of Fame. The former Tennessee Volunteer was enshrined last night as a member of the 2021 class, and delivered his highly anticipated speech.
Manning, of course, is a natural in front of a mic or camera, and he didn’t disappoint on Sunday night. The speeches were shortened to four minutes each last night, but Manning still delivered plenty of jokes. He jabbed at Ray Lewis, who famously gave a nearly 40 minute speech a couple of years ago. He also poked at Tom Brady, wondering when his old rival would finally retire.
Manning played at Tennessee from 1994-1997, throwing for over 11,000 yards. He tossed 89 touchdowns during his time in Knoxville, on his way to becoming the top pick in the 1998 NFL Draft. He went on to play 17 years in the league, winning a Super Bowl with both the Colts and Broncos.
