It was a great day for the Titans in terms of draft order
The Tennessee Titans played another bad football game today, but hey, their loss and the New York Giants win moved the Titans up to the second overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft. Some people have been rooting for draft order since the beginning of October. They should be thrilled today.
The New England Patriots currently hold the number one pick. Both the Patriots and the Titans are 3-13, but the Titans have the head to head win over the Patriots and New England has a weaker strength of schedule. It all comes down to week 18.
In week 18, the Titans play the Houston Texans and the Patriots play the Buffalo Bills. Both the Texans and the Bills have their playoff spot locked in. The Bills will be the number two seed and the Texans will be the number four seed in the AFC. That means both teams will likely be sitting key players. Here’s to hoping the Titans lose and the Patriots win!
