A.J. Brown will be catching passes from Jalen Hurts for the foreseeable future after the Philadelphia Eagles acquired him from the Tennessee Titans on Draft Day.
In an interview with NBC Sports Philadelphia, Brown was asked about the prospect of playing with Hurts. Brown said that he’s excited to play with him and believes he’ll get on the same page with Hurts quickly.
“Man, it’s going to be real special, man,” Brown said, via ProFootballTalk. “I’m so excited, playing with someone who thinks like me. I talk to him every day regardless of this football stuff. I’m so excited just to play with him. He’s a quarterback and I’m a receiver so we get on the same page quick.”
Brown missed several games due to injury last season but still ended the campaign with 63 receptions for 869 yards and five touchdowns. In three seasons he has 185 receptions for 2,995 yards and 24 touchdowns.

Philadelphia Eagles fans have been practically begging the team to acquire a high-profile wide receiver for years. It may not have been the one they were expecting, but there aren’t many unhappy Eagles fans this morning.
The Eagles made the playoffs in 2021 despite not having a single receiver go over 70 receptions or 1,000 yards. Though in fairness, DeVonta Smith came close to both marks.
But now that the Eagles have both Smith and A.J. Brown, their passing offense might finally be able to take some pressure off that top-ranked rushing offense.
What kind of an impact will A.J. Brown have for the Eagles in 2022?
