The Tennessee Titans are no doubt on shaky ground at the linebacker position heading into the 2024 campaign.
The Titans were already in need of a new starting linebacker to replace Jack Gibbens after a lackluster campaign. However, the situation at the position was really flipped on its head when Azeez Al-Shaair signed with the Houston Texans in free agency.
The Titans signed Kenneth Murray, but he’s hardly a replacement for Al-Shaair. Behind Murray, the Titans have a competition for the other spot between Gibbens, a rookie in Cedric Gray and a second-year player in Otis Reese, who played sparingly last season.
Tennessee’s less-than ideal situation at the position is definitely reflected in the linebacker rankings of ESPN’s Mike Clay.
