After suffering two straight losses at the hands of the Pittsburgh Steelers and Cincinnati Bengals, the Tennessee Titans enter the Week 9 contest against the Chicago Bears at Nissan Stadium with a myriad of concerns.
The good news is that the Titans aren’t just sitting by and waiting for things to improve. General manager Jon Robinson was busy making roster moves on Tuesday, as the Titans released long snapper Beau Brinkley and cornerback Johnathan Joseph.
Tennessee also announced that free-agent bust Vic Beasley would be released on Wednesday, ending what has been a depressing and problem-filled tenure in Nashville.
Before those moves were announced, the Titans struck a deal with the Los Angeles Chargers on Monday for defensive back Desmond King II, who should help bolster an awful secondary.
While all those moves show the Titans are taking action rather than sitting idly by, there is still a laundry list of concerns for head coach Mike Vrabel’s squad going into Sunday’s tilt with the Bears.
