Seven-year veteran linebacker/safety Kyzir White signed a new contract with the Tennessee Titans. White, a former fourth-round pick, spent the 2024 season with the Arizona Cardinals but previously played for the Los Angeles Chargers and Philadelphia Eagles.

The 2024 season was another solid one for Kyzir White. Serving as the center of Arizona’s defense, the linebacker started in all 17 games while recording 2.5 sacks, 137 tackles, nine tackles-for-loss, eight quarterback hits, one interception, and three passes defended. Unfortunately, this wasn’t enough to get the Cardinals to the playoffs, as the team spent January on the couch for the third consecutive season.
Kyzir White originally entered the league as a fourth-round pick in the 2018 NFL Draft. Selected by the Los Angeles Chargers, White played safety in college but immediately transitioned to linebacker. While he impressed in training camp and earned a starting job, he suffered a season-ending knee injury after three games. During his truncated rookie season, White recorded one interception, two passes defended, 17 tackles, and one tackle-for-loss.
White returned to the field in 2019 and played more of a situational role. Appearing in all 17 games while making seven starts, the second-year pro recorded one interception, 40 tackles, one tackle-for-loss, and a 66.6 PFF grade during his first full season of action. Even though he remained healthy, the Chargers suffered through a 5-11 season in what would become the final year of the Philip Rivers Era.
The linebacker became a full-time starter in 2021 and 2022 and had the best season of his career in 2022. During the final year of his rookie contract, Kyzir White recorded two interceptions, one sack, 144 tackles, seven tackles-for-loss, four quarterback hits, and a 66.5 PFF grade, the 20th-best mark out of 86 eligible players.
White proceeded to sign a one-year deal with the Philadelphia Eagles in 2022. Helping the team make the Super Bowl, the linebacker recorded 1.5 sacks, 110 tackles, three tackles-for-loss, and three quarterback hits under defensive coordinator Jonathan Gannon. The Cardinals hired Gannon to be their next head coach, and White followed him to the desert for the 2023 season.
