In a shocking turn of events, the Tennessee Titans are trading wide receiver A.J. Brown to the Philadelphia Eagles.
Since 2019, Brown has 185 catches for 2,995 yards and 24 touchdowns. He has been an electric playmaker for the Titans during that span.
Brown has been mentioned in trade rumors throughout this offseason, but Titans general manager Jon Robinson recently tried to pour cold water on them.
“We’ve had some discussions with his reps,” Robinson said. “When he was here a couple weeks ago, I talked to him. We’re working through that. Not going to get into any details with contract negotiations — never have really done that. But we’ve made it public about how we feel about A.J. and how we want him to be a part of this football team.”
Clearly, the Titans’ plans changed.

Brown will immediately become the Eagles’ best wide receiver. He should form a nice duo with DeVonta Smith.
Next order of business for the Eagles is working out a long-term contract with Brown, who is currently set to play this season on the final year of his rookie deal.
