Taylor Lewan wants people to stop overreacting to the “trash bag” photo.
In the photo, you can see the Titans have dropped off Lewan’s belongings in trash bags. it led to a lot of people being upset since it seemed like a crappy thing to do to a franchise icon.
Lewan, who was released last Wednesday, clarified the photo and said that he asked the Titans to do that.
“I asked them to do it. Jeb Johnson, who is a longtime cop and works for the Titans, called him and said ‘I need you to drop off this stuff at my house.’ He drops it off, I then post to thank him for doing it and then it all breaks loose. Yes, it’s in trash bags but who cares? Let’s stop overreacting,” Lewan said in a recent video.
The NFL community appreciated Lewan’s clarification of it all.
Lewan is set to be a free agent on Mar. 15 when the new league year starts.
