The Tennessee Titans needed to upgrade their pass rush in a bad way entering free agency, and they did so by inking former Pittsburgh Steelers outside linebacker, Bud Dupree.
Dupree’s deal will span five years and is worth $82.5 million, although Tennessee does have an out after Year 2. For 2021, the 28-year-old carries a very reasonable cap hit of just $5.1 million (details here).
When breaking down the signing, we pointed to Dupree’s impressive past production and his versatility as both a pass rusher and run defender, but we also pointed out the risk, ultimately leading us to grade the move with a “B”.
When taking a look around at how different analysts graded the move, it appears we’re on the same page with most of them. Here’s a look at how Tennessee was graded for the move by other outlets.
