The Titans are currently on the field in pads for the first time in training camp. Julio Jones was not present when the workout started according to the media members in attendance. This doesn’t come as a huge surprise after he left practice early yesterday. People that saw the play happen said that it didn’t look like that big of a deal.
When Mike Vrabel was asked after practice yesterday if Julio was OK he said ”Sure.” That’s about all you are going to get from Vrabel this time of year on injuries.
I still have nightmares about things going horribly wrong when it comes to the Titans and high-profile receivers. If it weren’t for that, I probably wouldn’t be worried about this at all at the beginning of August. As I mentioned in this morning’s Homerun Throwback Daily (listen here), we will just have to keep an eye on this and see when Julio gets back on the field. We aren’t really going to get any other updates.
