The new betting odds are in for Derek Carr’s next landing spot.
According to NBC Sports EDGE Betting, the teams with the best odds are the Jets, Saints, Bucs, Panthers and Titans; led by New York at +300.
The Jets, Saints and Panthers have been the teams most linked to Carr ahead of the NFL’s free agency period. But the four-time Pro Bowler has said that he plans to take his time before making the decision that he feels is best for him.
Carr was cast aside by the team that drafted him after nine years of loyal service to the organization. Now he’ll look to restart elsewhere in a winning situation.
The Jets are probably in the best position to make some playoff noise with their young, talented roster that just needs a triggerman to keep them on schedule.
But we’ll get a better idea of where Carr is leaning in the weeks to come.
