The Tennessee Titans made a series of roster moves o Wednesday, one of which included the release of a longtime player.
The Titans released Taylor Lewan, who had been their starting left tackle for the last nine years.
After the news became official, Lewan posted a heartfelt tribute to his Twitter, thanking Titans fans for their support over the years.
“Thank you to every single Titan fan. Whether you loved me or hated me all I’ve ever wanted was to make this city proud and help Bring back a franchise. Thank you so much,” Lewan tweeted.
Lewan was released due to a failed physical. He’s only appeared in 20 games over the last three seasons due to two separate ACL tears.
It remains to be seen if he signs with another team this offseason or if he calls it a career.
