The Titans have been very busy this Wednesday, releasing three veteran players from their roster.
It all started with the Titans cutting offensive tackle Taylor Lewan. A few moments later, it was reported that wide receiver Robert Woods was being released as well.
The third and final player cut from the Titans this afternoon is kicker Randy Bullock. This move will save the team $2 million in cap space.
Judging by the reactions on social media, Titans fans aren’t losing sleep over this move.
“I didn’t expect this one,” a fan tweeted. “Thought he’d get a chance to compete. It’s the right decision anyway. Never felt confident with Bullock, not even in XPs.”
“Ron Carthon ain’t playing no games,” another fan wrote. “He’s gonna have them in line for the Caleb Williams sweepstakes.”
“3 players and $30 million gone from Tennessee in a matter of hours,” a third fan added.
Bullock made 17-of-20 field goals this past season. When it came to extra point attempts, he was perfect.
Teams without a bonafide star at kicker may consider signing Bullock this offseason.
