Dianna Russini was on The Herd with Colin Cowherd yesterday talking about Mike Vrabel the Tennessee Titans and the New England Patriots. It is pretty well known that Russini’s source in Tennessee is either Vrabel himself or someone closely related to Vrabel. All that to say, she has always had really good information when it comes to Vrabel.
She said in the interview that Vrabel wants to be in Tennessee and that Tennessee wants to keep Vrabel. We already knew the part about the Titans wanting to keep Vrabel. What we were unsure about was whether or not Vrabel still wanted to be with the Titans. Russini says he does, so that is good enough for me for now.
Just keep in mind that a lot of things can change between now and the end of the season – so just because these things are true now doesn’t mean they will be in January. There has been a lot swirling around this situation. My best guess is that when all of the dust settles Mike Vrabel is still the head coach of the Titans and Ran Carthon is still the general manager, but I wouldn’t be shocked if not all of that ended up being true. How’s that for going out on a limb?
