The Tennessee Titans have themselves a new inside linebacker after drafting Monty Rice out of Georgia with the No. 92 overall pick in the 2021 NFL draft.
The pick of Rice didn’t come without some controversy, though, as many in Titans circles expected a wide receiver pick in that spot thanks to the team’s lack of depth at the position.
Instead, the Titans used their Day 2 picks on an offensive tackle (Dillon Radunz), linebacker (Rice) and defensive back (Elijah Molden), all positions that are of less dire need than wide receiver.
