NFL Draft Grades for the Titans day two picks

Taking a look around the internet for grades on the Titans day two performance.

Well, I wanted the Tennessee Titans to trade down in the top of the second round to pick up a third-round pick. They were able to do that, but I have to say that after seeing the players they took with those two picks, I would have rather they stayed at pick #35 and drafted Luther Burden III. This franchise has an aversion to spending picks in the first two days on wide receivers. It has been an issue across all the different regimes here.

They drafted an EDGE rusher who had six total sacks in college and a safety with one interception in his college career. I guess college production isn’t something this group has high on their list of importance.

I don’t understand it. They drafted their quarterback of the future and then spent the next two picks on defensive players instead of adding weapons. That doesn’t seem like the best way to help the young quarterback succeed.

Anyway, here are some grades from around the internet for the Titans’ day two performance in the 2025 NFL Draft:

J.P. Acosta from SB Nation gave them an A- for the Femi Oladejo pick and a B- for the Kevin Winston pick.

Nick Baumgardner of The Athletic gave them a B for the Oladejo pick and an A- for the Winston pick.

Chris Trapasso of CBS handed out a B+ for the Oladejo pick.

It does make me feel slight better that these guys seems to feel pretty good about these picks.
