The Tennessee Titans made a change at head coach on Tuesday.

Just two days after they knocked the Jacksonville Jaguars out of the playoffs, they parted ways with head coach Mike Vrabel.

Per ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Titans owner Adams Strunk wanted some new perspective after the team lost 18 of its last 24 games.

This still has NFL fans surprised since Vrabel led the Titans to the playoffs in three of his six seasons at the helm.

“Vrabel never lost the respect of his locker room. I believe the owners will definitely lose the locker room now! It will be interesting to see what players want to return without him there,” one tweet read.

“Extremely surprising move. He was one of the few reasons the Titans won as many games as they did,” another tweet read.

The worst possible outcome for a young QB’s development is constant change. https://t.co/iLj4sWBYuT

Vrabel moves into the top of the list for coaches.

Have to think New England is a landing spot if Belichick goes or not https://t.co/lY0gTbzTBI

I don’t agree with this at all. https://t.co/zTrK2wM3Zc

I now am severely questioning Amy Adams Strunk and the #Titans front office

Absolute malpractice and bad business from beginning to end this year. We will talk about it in depth today on the @HotReadPod https://t.co/3MhZgfR3IL

Vrabel will likely be a hot commodity for teams currently looking for a new head coach.

He went 54-45 during his six seasons with the Titans.
