The Titans have already parted ways with several veteran players this offseason. Could running back Derrick Henry be on the next flight out of Nashville?
According to Albert Breer of Sports Illustrated, the Titans have been listening to trade offers for Henry.
However, the Titans aren’t “actively shopping” Henry. They’re simply leaving the door open in case they’re blown away by an offer.
Though a trade isn’t imminent at this time, NFL fans believe it’s a matter of time before Henry is dealt to another franchise.
“Why wouldn’t they listen to offers? What does this even mean haha,” a Titans fan said. “The not actively shopping makes me feel a bit better.”
“Almost feels like a matter of ‘when’ not ‘if’ at this point,” another fan tweeted.
Henry finished the 2022 season with 1,538 rushing yards and 13 touchdowns. He also had 33 receptions for 398 yards.
The Titans would take on a $10.1 million dead cap charge if they trade Henry before June 1.
