Titans quarterback Ryan Tannehill could be on the move this offseason. He has one year remaining on his current contract.
If the Titans are serious about shopping Tannehill, they may just receive an offer from the Jets.
According to SNY reporter Connor Hughes, there’s a feeling around the NFL that the Jets are “much higher” on Tannehill “than some want to believe.”
Interestingly enough, the Jets hired Todd Downing as their passing game coordinator this week. He was Tannehill’s offensive coordinator in Tennessee for the past two seasons.
Football fans think it would be disappointing if the Jets get off the quarterback carousel with Tannehill as their Week 1 starter.
“It’s better than what they had last year but it would certainly be a disappointment compared to Rodgers or Carr landing there,” one fan tweeted.
Another fan said, “I can see Tannehill or Jimmy G in a Jets uniform much more than Rodgers or Carr.”
The Jets have been linked to a plethora of quarterbacks over the past month, such as Derek Carr, Jimmy Garoppolo and Aaron Rodgers.
Who do you think will start at quarterback for the Jets next season?
