The Titans sat All-Pro running back Derrick Henry against the Cowboys last Thursday due to a hip injury. Many people believe the coaching staff gave him some much-needed rest ahead of Week 18.
With a must-win game coming up this weekend, Henry has been removed from the Titans’ injury report. He’ll be ready to go against the Jaguars.
Last time the Jaguars and Titans met, Henry had 121 rushing yards and a touchdown on 17 carries.
The Titans will need an elite performance from Henry this Saturday. A win over the Jaguars would send Mike Vrabel’s squad to the playoffs.
While Titans fans are obviously hoping for a great game from Henry, fantasy football owners are still mad about Week 17.
“Made sure they all sat out last week lol,” one fan said. “The zombies still can’t see how sports is rigged.”
Another fan tweeted, “Couldn’t of been there for me last week.”
“Very clear the Titans used the meaningless TNF game against Cowboys as a bye week for players who were banged up to get ready for winner take all against Jaguars,” a third fan wrote.
Henry should have fresh legs for Week 18.
The Titans and Jaguars will kick off at 8:15 p.m. ET on Saturday.
