Robert Woods’ Titans career has officially come at an end after just 17 games.
According to NFL insider Jordan Schultz, Tennessee has decided to part ways with the veteran wideout one year after acquiring him via trade.
The NFL world reacted to the Wednesday’s Woods news on social media.
“He would be a perfect WR 3 for us,” commented an Eagles fan.
“Did not come close to providing what the Titans needed from him,” tweeted Paul Kuharsky. “Helped show just how good the guy they traded away was.”
“This one is tough,” another user said. “Played under his normal production, in a system that didn’t highlight him, in his first year back after an ACL tear. He’ll be 31 next year but a full year past injury. Some explosion should return to his game. Could be a good ‘buy-low’ WR3/4 candidate.”
“Let’s agree here and now, before it’s even March, not to bother with these types of conversations as far as the Dallas Cowboys are concerned,” replied Dave Helman.
“Why would the Rams not bring him back, I don’t see why not,” Rams Tapes tweeted.
Definitely a name to watch as free agency gets underway.
